  2. Sdefy is a short distance ecomerce service provider. As such it provides features such as:
    • Turnkey online store.
    • A classified page to advertize items and services.
    • Online and In-person card payment processing.
    • Inventory management.

    • Chat to field store inquiries from potential buyer.
    • Search functionality for buyers to discover goods/services.

    The primary distinction of this local online store, compared to traditional web stores, is that its visibility is confined to your neighborhood. The main benefit is that you avoid the complexities and expenses associated with shipping.

  3. What does Sdefy mean?
  4. Sdefy is a combination of the acronym SDE (Short Distance Ecommerce) and -FY (forming verbs denoting the making or producing).

  5. Is Sdefy a Marketplace?
  6. When you download and set up the first store in your neighborhood, you establish a new local marketplace. Similarly, others can replicate this model in various areas across the globe. In this way, Sdefy can be viewed as a network of numerous localized marketplaces.

  7. How can I use Sdefy?
  8. Simply install the app, follow the easy setup steps.

  9. Is Sdefy free to use?
  10. Sdefy is free to use if you are a user looking simply to explore/buy goods and services from stores available in your neighborhood on Sdefy. There are no fees either for using the app to exchange information with others in the neighborhood or with other members of special interest groups.

    If you are an online store, Sdefy charges a small fee that processes card payments; either online or in-person. This fees are accessed only when a sale is made. There are no other fees. Please see pricing section for more details.

  11. How can I create a marketplace based on interest rather than distance?

  13. If I have an issue with online order, who do I contact?
  14. Any online transaction you make with a store happens directly between you as a buyer and the store. So always contact the store first.
